Please plan carefully and contact us if you have any questions before finalizing appointments. Most reservations are 1-2 weeks in advance so as to give all participants ample time to prepare. As a participant at the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center all patrons must agree to the following cancellation & alteration policy:

Rescheduling

In the event the PATRON should alter the date of their reservation 7 days ahead of the scheduled reservation, no fees will be assessed and the balance of their deposit will be transferred to the updated event. In the event that the PATRON should reschedule between 24 to 72 hours of the scheduled reservation, PATRON agrees to pay CENTER twenty percent (20%) as a rescheduling fee, to be deducted from the PATRON’S deposit. PATRON will be required to pay additional balance at the time of rescheduling. If rescheduling occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation it will be treated as a cancellation. In the event CENTER reschedules the reservation, then the PATRON’S deposit will be fully transferred to the new reservation.

To reschedule an appointment email [email protected] with the date & time of your current reservation and include the date & time of your desired new reservation.  Any fees will be based off of when you have contacted the Space Center by email or by phone message.

Cancellation 72+ hours before event

In the event the PATRON should cancel a reservation over 72 hours ahead of the scheduled reservation, PATRON agrees to pay CENTER ten percent (10%) as a fee, to be deducted from the PATRON’S deposit. In the event CENTER cancels the reservation, then the PATRON’S deposit will be fully refunded.

Cancellation 24-72 hours before event

In the event the PATRON should cancel a reservation 24 to 72 hours of the scheduled reservation, PATRON agrees to pay CENTER thirty percent (30%) as a processing fee, to be deducted from the PATRON’S deposit. In the event CENTER cancels the reservation, then the PATRON’S deposit will be fully refunded.

Cancellation within 24 hours of event

In the event the PATRON should cancel a reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation, PATRON agrees to pay CENTER sixty percent (60%) as a fee, to be deducted from the PATRON’S deposit. In the event CENTER cancels the reservation, then the PATRON’S deposit will be fully refunded.
