Our planetarium shows are an unforgettable and exciting experience for ages six and up. With shows ranging from learning about our moon, to distant ice worlds, to a beginners guide to the galaxy, we’re sure you can find something for you and your family. Multiple days and times are available for most shows. Doors close five minutes after the show begins. We look forward to showing you some of what our space has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Patrons will not be permitted into the planetarium once the seating process is completed.  Doors will open 5 minutes before the show time and close 5 minutes after.  This is due to the nature of planetarium shows and the need to maintain a dark environment.  Patrons that leave the planetarium during a show will not be permitted to return to their seats.  If an item needs to be retrieved, please seek out a staff member for assistance.

Out of courtesy for all guests, patrons of the Planetarium must be able to sit appropriately quiet in their own seat for the duration of the show.  For safety reasons we do not provide booster seats and ask that guests not stand on the seating.  A child is permitted to sit on their parent’s lap to help with this situation so long as the child’s feet are not on a nearby seat.

Due to capacity limits of the planetarium all patrons must have a ticket to enter even if they do not sit in their own seat.  We don’t expect tickets to be purchased for infants, but similar to a movie theater it may not be appropriate to bring a baby to a show that can have loud effects.

Yes, the simulators and planetarium often have dramatic changes to lighting or other content which is more likely to trigger seizures due to flashing lights or other causes.  When you arrive you can request for our staff to mitigate some of these effects.  Though it should be noted that some elements are automated and difficult to eliminate completely.

There are 4 wheelchair spots and 4 adjacent seats located in the planetarium.  Please call ahead to reserve one of these seats when completing your ticket purchase.  Our software is unable to track this aspect and so our staff will accommodate your needs over the phone or make you aware if seating isn’t available for a particular show.
